Expertise

Elvina Mathieu advises on intellectual property, new technologies, press and media law matters.

She assists the Firm’s clients in the development of their innovative projects and in the defense and valuation of their intangible assets. In this respect, she participates in the negotiation and drafting of contracts in numerous sectors (artistic creation, transfer of rights and assets, IT projects, information society services, personal data processing) and intervenes in all compliance operations in these fields.

Elvina is involved in all the types of civil and criminal litigations related to the Firm’s practice areas (contractual liability, cybercrime, counterfeiting), as well as in highly technical transnational litigations. She also assists the Firm’s clients in the protection of their privacy, reputation and image.

Training

Elvina Mathieu is a graduate of the Master in Economic Law of the Sciences Po Law School, where she specialized in intellectual property and innovation law under the supervision of Professor Michel Vivant and Ms. Séverine Dusollier.

She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Paris-IV Sorbonne (now the Faculty of Letters of Sorbonne University). She also studied at the National University of Singapore.

As part of her training, Elvina Mathieu completed several internships in French and international law firms in the fields of intellectual property, new technologies, e-commerce and press and media law. She has also worked for major companies in the e-commerce sector.

Elvina Mathieu was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2020.
