Brigitte R. Gambini is a French and US-trained business attorney specializing in cross-border transactions and investments with over 30 years of global experience acquired at major U.S. international law firms and in-house at Fortune 100 corporations in New York and Paris.  She advises major global consortia and SMEs in the med-tech and life science, industrial manufacturing, financial/insurance, high-end consumer goods, and leisure/entertainment sectors. 

Brigitte is a project-oriented team leader with a 360-degree perspective.  She is recognized for her pragmatic, agile, and efficient approach to deal-making, playing an active role from the negotiation process to the post-deal integration.  

She serves as lead counsel in structuring and negotiating cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances and settling international intellectual property and commercial contract disputes, in the pre-trial / pre-arbitration phase, for French, US, and German major industrial consortia. 

In addition, her interest in new technology has led her to represent close to 50 innovative SMEs, mainly specializing in IT, biotech, med-tech, and diagnostics, in their expansion into the U.S. market, including collaboration agreements with crucial intellectual property issues. Her experience and that of her long-standing teams of specialized attorneys and other professionals offer newcomers full-service access to the U.S. market. 

Similarly, she advises U.S. investors on strategic development deals in the EU, including as Special European Counsel to large U.S. law firms assisting in servicing their clients’ outbound needs. 

Brigitte also serves as Preferred Counsel to the French import-export agency, Business France, North America.

Strategy: Strategic approach to negotiations of (i) collaborative agreements with US multinationals for innovative French SMEs with a firsthand understanding of US multinationals’ in-house processes ; (ii) multimillion-dollar settlements of Intellectual property litigation in multiple US and French jurisdictions; (iii) major agreements on behalf of US Fortune 100 corporation with a French state-owned corporation; (iv)  deal approvals by various French and EU regulatory authorities (French Ministry of Finance, Audiovisual Council (CSA), Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR)).
