She advises companies on regulatory compliance and the monitoring of their legal obligations, in particular with regard to personal data protection.
Hortense also intervenes in the field of intellectual property by accompanying companies in the valuation and defense of their intangible assets.
She also assists them in litigation at all stages of the procedure.
Experience
Hortense Pin–Plaud is a graduate of the Master in Economic Law of the Sciences Po Law School, where she specialized in intellectual property and innovation law.
During her academic training, she pursued studies in Japan at Kyoto University (京都大学) and at Keio University Law School (慶應義塾大学大学院) in Tokyo, where she notably studied under Professor Toshiko Takenaka.
Her professional background includes several internships in law firms, during which she worked on intellectual property matters and on projects related to digital and technology law. She also developed expertise in personal data protection through her work at the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2025 and joined FÉRAL, following the completion of her final traineeship within the firm.
